Since 1982, he has in conjunction with his professional life, has served as Chairman and Trustee of Shree Jalaram Charitable Trust, Leicester, and between 1992-1995 was instrumental in inaugurating and creating the first purpose-built Jalaram Bapa Temple outside India, a landmark institution known locally as “Bapa’s Gateway to Leicester.”
